For this collaboration, I did research on famous architects, existing architectures buildings around the world, planned buildings, and places that are redeveloping before the architecture students formative. Here I have attached a word documents that contains all my findings.

Overall from this research, I have gained understanding about developing places. I looked at the social, political, economic, environmental and technology contexts of these locations. I also looked at hoarding designs around the area, and how it relates to the community, for example, the hoardings design around King Cross are very formal and clean because the people living around are rich business people. From this research, it has enhanced my knowledge about architectures and understanding about brands and brandings on buildings shown from the companies website, hoarding designs etc.

Me and Juliet we went to our groups formative and it was really long. Our London group presented really well, there aim is to bring all the communities together. And the Brighton group also presented well but I wasn’t sure what their proposal was, but they didn’t want to just redesign the carpark but they want to create a leisure center and housing above the car park. From the formative, we were able to come up with few ideas for the branding. Such as creating a hoarding board that would be separated into different sections of culture/communities. And the public could draw, right on their section, which encourages the communities to get together and to identify Elephant and Castle a multi-ethnic place.
